Equality workshop for teachers

6/12/2016 Equality workshop for teachers All our teachers participated in a workshop facilitated by an

antidiscrimination trainer Kinga Karp who is a member of the Association of Antidiscrimination Education in Poland.

The aim of the workshop was to make teachers more familiar with the idea of equality in the context of school but also national, European and international legislation. Through various activities we had a chance to reflect on our own social identities and the relation of stereotype, prejudice and discrimination based on those identities. The activities and dynamics gave a great opportunity to discuss the issues and compare our points of view.

We hope to develop some of the topics while working with youngsters during our regular classes
