Step 1: Pick a moral for your story

Step 2: Create your hero

A moral is something your readers or viewers will learn from reading or watching your fairy tale. For example your fairy tale may be about being kind and nice to everyone.

A hero is someone that your readers and viewers can relate to and is someone that is likeable that they want to see to succeed. Aladdin, Ariel, Simba, Little Red Riding Hood are all great examples of a hero.

Step 3: Create your villain

Step 4: Think about your magical element

This is someone in your story whose purpose is to stop the hero from achieving their goal. For example, Scar stopping Simba from being king.

This is something or someone that will help guide and support your hero through their story. The magic is often the best part of any story. A great example is Genie from Aladdin.
