A Supernode allows a section of a stream, consisting of a

number of nodes, to be condensed into a single node,

represented by a star icon

What is a Supernode?

Source Supernode – contains at least one source node.

• Connections cannot be made to this node

Process Supernode – contains manipulation nodes

• Connections can be made to and from this node

Terminal Supernode – contains at least 1 terminal node

• Connections cannot be made from this node

Select the relevant nodes and:

• Right click a node select from the menu

OR

• Click on the star button on the menu bar

• Select the encapsulate nodes into supernode icon

• Through the Menu Item

Supernodes can be edited in a variety of ways

The Supernodes can be expanded/compressed:

1. Right click + Zoom in (or Zoom Out)

2. Use the Zoom Into/Zoom Out Icons

The contents of a Supernode can be put back into the

stream canvas by expanding the supernode

Simply by right clicking and selecting Expand

Alternatively this can be done through the

Supernode menu item
