WORKING WITH RECRUIT® HD TERMITE BAIT

HOW LONG WILL RECRUIT® HD TERMITE BAIT LAST? The bait has been designed to last. Field studies indicate that even in the toughest environments, this durable bait will last for years.

IF I REPLACE BAIT FREQUENTLY, WON’T I PROVIDE BETTER SERVICE, ENSURING THE CUSTOMER GETS MAXIMUM VALUE? Actually, research has shown a termite preference for more-seasoned bait devices in comparison to fresh. Just as wine improves with age, the same is true of the bait.

SHOULD I REPLACE THE BAIT IF IT IS MOLDY OR WET?Do not replace Recruit HD termite bait for these reasons. Studies showed that Recruit HD is highly durable against fungi, even with long-term exposure. Termite control was obtained with Recruit HD regardless of if the bait was exposed to wood rot or if the bait was new.

WHAT IF IT IS CRACKED?Again, do not replace Recruit® HD termite bait for this reason. Cracking is normal and does not affect the bait’s effectiveness.

WHAT IF A HOMEOWNER’S DOG ACCIDENTALLY CHEWS ON THE BAIT? Studies show noviflumuron has low acute mammalian toxicity, so it should have no effect on a dog. Customers should call their Certified Sentricon Specialist™ to replace the station.
