HRMS 8.9 to FSCM 8.9 Integration

Test Environments

Tested this scenario in the following HRMS 8.9 (PT 8.47) and FSCM 8.9 (PT 8.49) Databases.

HRMS 8.9Technical Configuration

Log into the HRMS 8.9 DataBase using User ID PS and Password PS:

Make sure that the Local Gateway is Active: PT849

Make sure that there is a Node Definition and in Active status for the PeopleSoft FSCM 8.9 environment we want to interface with: E890G2AP.

Make sure that the OutSync transactions WORKFORCE_SYNC is active.As per the Connectors, we need to link it to the Local Gateway, and PSFTTARGET.

Ping the Node ( Success

OutSync transaction WORKFORCE_SYNC for Node E890G2AP.

The same needs to be made sure for the Local Default Node on our HRMS 8.9 environment: H890G2KP.

As per the Connectors, we need to link it to the Local Gateway, and PSFTTARGET.

Make sure that the OutSync transactions WORKFORCE_SYNC is active.

Ping the Node ( Success

OutSync transaction WORKFORCE_SYNC for H890G2KP.

Make sure that the Message Channel PERSON_DATA is set to Run status, and it contains the following Operations:

WORKFORCE_SYNC

Make sure the Messages WORKFORCE_SYNC is Active.

This is the Relationship Definition for WORKFORCE_SYNC:

We will be using transaction modifier because of different message versions in FIN and HR.

Make sure Domain Status is Active

FSCM 8.9Technical Configuration

Log into the FSCM 8.9 DataBase using User ID VP1 and Password VP1:

Make sure that the Gateway is Active:

Make sure that there is a Node Definition and in Active status for the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 environment we want to interface with: H890G2KP.

As per the Connectors, we need to link it to the Gateway, and PSFTTARGET.

Ping the node ( Success

The same needs to be made sure for the Local Default Node on our FSCM 8.9 environment: E890G2AP.

As per the Connectors, we need to link it to the Gateway, and PSFTTARGET.

Ping the Node ( Success

Make sure that the Queue PERSON_DATA is set to Run status, and it contains the following Service Operations:

WORKFORCE_SYNC

Make sure the Service Operation WORKFORCE_SYNC is Active:

Make sure that from the Routings, there is a row with Sender Node being the Local Node from the HRMS 8.9 environment (H890G2KP), and a Receiver Node being the Local Node from the FSCM 8.9 database (E890G2AP).

This is the Routing Definition for WORKFORCE_SYNC we are going to use:

Check the Message WORKFORCE_SYNC.

Check the Service WORKFORCE_SYNC

Make sure that the Domain Status is Active:

Make sure the EMP_SERVLET URL is configured correctly:

Replication Steps:

Log into the HRMS 8.9 Database using User ID PS:

Hire a New Employee.

(I)

Hire a New Employee.

(II)Select Employee checkbox and Click on Add the Relationship button.

Hire a New Employee.

(III)

Click on OK. Click OK for following warning:

The Employee and the Job information get saved.

Check in Integration Broker, the Monitor Integration. As we can see, the PERSON_DATA Queue has WORKFORCE_SYNC instances in Done status.

Log into the PeopleSoft FSCM 8.9 database using User ID VP1:

We can see how the Queue PERSON_DATA has our new Message in Done status:

Check the data at back end on FIN side.
