Pennsylvania Highlands Workforce Development & Continuing Education works to meetthe training, non-credit education, and community interest needs of the region. Every year,We offer a wide selection of courses to assist you in excelling professionally and growingintellectually while stimulating your mind and body.
Located in the new Workforce Education Center at the Richland Campus, the WorkforceDevelopment & Continuing Education staff and instructors work closely with businesses,manufacturers, health care providers, and private and public partners to deliver a widerange of customized, professional/personal development, and incumbent worker trainingsolutions. Our Workforce Education courses are designed to meet the needs and interestsof individuals and to support regional business and industry workforce development. Ourclasses give you the ability to develop new and enhance current skills.
Our Community Education courses are intended to help you grow professionally, or justenjoy life by expanding your knowledge or fitness with personally enriching activities.Whether you want to learn a new language, explore new interests, or become proficientin computer applications, you will find various options to choose from. Many of our coursesare designed to be delivered as online offerings in a self-paced format. There arenumerous online offerings available through the College's website that can expand yourknowledge of a subject or introduce you to new and exciting areas of learning.

Pharmacy TechnicianThis 50 hour course prepares you for an entry-level position in the pharmacy field as anancillary worker under the supervision of aregistered pharmacist working in the hospital,community pharmacy or home infusionpharmacy. Veterinary Assistant This 100 hour program introduces you to theexciting and growing field of veterinarymedicine. LOANS
Private student loans are available for certain Continuing Education programs. Loans can be usedto fund up to 100% of school certified education costs (a minimum of $1,000 is required).
A variety of loan products exist and students are encouraged to investigate options thoroughly.Pennsylvania Highlands Community College does not recommend lenders and does not maintain apreferred lender list. PAYMENT PLANA payment plan is available for some Continuing Education programs. The plan allows students toregister for classes while making convenient monthly payments on their tuition over a specified periodof time.
A 20% down payment is due at registration, along with a one-time payment plan fee of $25.

Course registrations for Continuing Educationclasses are accepted on an ongoing basis, butmust be received prior to course start dates.
Confirmation of course registration, includingroom location(s), will be mailed upon receipt ofa completed registration form and payment.
You will not be enrolled in a course until acompleted registration form and payment arereceived.
Acceptable methods of payment include check,cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). A feeof $25 will be assessed for any check refused forinsufficient funds.
Pennsylvania Highlands Community Collegereserves the right to add or delete courses, aswell as change class times, locations, fees orinstructors at any time.

REFUND POLICYRefunds are available for registered studentsunder the following guidelines
