o Enrol and Complete the course and download your certficate print it
out and keep it with your workbook, for submission at the end of the
course.

Self-Directed Before Next Week: Familiarise yourself with the school software
(specifically, what software does the school have - how many of the programmes do
you recognise). Access your H:/ drive and make a folder called Digital
Literacy
Ensure you have logged into Moodle and enroled in all your courses.
SOFTWARE
List 7 Software programmes that are available on the school computers and a short
description of what they do:
e.g. Microsoft Word For Writing text documents
Firefox Use as an internet browser
Adobe Photoshop Changing photos/images
Microsoft Powerpoint Presenting work
Adobe Reader For viewing documents
Microsoft Excell For presenting spreadsheets
Windows Media Player For playing media/music
