GPA/CLASS RANK All courses are used in computing GPA. MHS does not rank students unless they request to have it included on their transcript. Honors and AP courses are weighted one additional point. GRADING SCALE 90-100 = A 80-89 = B 70-79 = C 60-69 = D COMMUNITY SERVICE Listed on the transcript as a course in progress, the 40-hour requirement becomes “P” once completed. Because of COVID- 19, this requirement has been adjusted to 20 hours. The Mariemont City School District serves over 1,700 students in a suburb east of Cincinnati as a public school district. The community includes a cross section of all socioeconomic levels and attained educational levels with the priority of educating our students and preparing them for post-secondary education. Our district focuses on a strong academic program while encouraging experiential learning for students through innovative master classes and a four- day intersession. Students are supported as they research their individual interests. Disciplinary matters are internal school issues. Our policy is to exclude commentary on school discipline matters. Mariemont High School has been named a Blue Ribbon School four times. 87% of our students participate in our 60 clubs/activities . MHS complies with the NACAC’S Code of Ethics and Professional Practices.
