Discussion items for WP n.2Example: definition of the energy baseline assessment methodology
Total energy consumption is the result of different activity sectors (e.g. residential, commercial, industrial, transportation, etc.). It is very useful, especially in order to give a particular direction to local actions, to analyse the contribution of the energy consumption to this sectorial disaggregation.
A further disaggregation with reference to the energy vectors (electricity, gas, district heating, coal, oil, etc) is a useful information to drive local actions.
The analysis of the variations over time (with reference to a baseyear) is important to understand the trends of energy consumption
