Be The Change

There’ll always be a reason why

It seems too difficult to even try.

The world is changing every day.

How can we make sure that we have our

say?

We are the future of this earth.

We need to treasure it, to know its worth.

Let’s be the ones who really care.

Let’s make the world a place that’s kind and

fair.

Make a difference. Say it clearly. I’m gonna be, be the change (change). Be the change (change).

Be the one who stands up proudly, Whose voice is always strong. Send your message out so loudly, Make things right when they are wrong. Wrap your arms around the world

And be the change (change), Yeah, be the change (change).

Look after each and every one. With love and tolerance you can’t go wrong. Just lead the way and do what’s right. Together we can make the future bright.

Make a difference. Say it clearly. I’m gonna be, be the change (change). Be the change (change).

Be the one who stands up proudly, Whose voice is always strong. Send your message out so loudly, Make things right when they are wrong.

Wrap your arms around the world, Wrap your arms around the world,

And be the change (change), Be the change (change).

Be the one who stands up proudly, Whose voice is always strong. Send your message out so loudly, Make things right when they are wrong. Wrap your arms around the world,

Be the change. Be the change, the change, the change (be the change). Be the change, the change, the change (be the change). Be the change, the change, the change (be the change). Be the change.

Also today in Music we will revise “the song “Naughty” from Matilda the musical. You should have the

lyrics in your Song & Poems copy but they are also in the 4th class resources folder (last page of

resources) on my 4th class blog on the website. You might also like to re-visit YouTube to see and hear

the song, just search on Youtube for “Naughty” from Matilda the musical.

English Poetry Revision: Revise reading “The Sea” on page 94 of the Lift Off Reader; perhaps you

might read it and record it as an audio clip for a grandparent, a relative or even me!

As reading is so important always but especially now, why not get someone to photograph you with

someone else in the photograph and send it on by email to show #you can read anywhere or #a book can

take you anywhere!! for the class blog photograph wall.

S.E.S.E. Geography: Locate the countries in Europe – if you cannot print the page, look at the countries

on a map/atlas/another device, see where the countries are in relation to Ireland. Perhaps you could also

see the capital city of the country. The page is in my 4th class resources page on my 4th class blog.

Maths: Planet Maths 4: Page 56 – the topic is division – a useful way to revise our division and

multiplication tables; division and multiplication tables are the opposite of each other – in Maths that is

called inverse operations, today your Maths work is oral, please look at section B on page 56 and with a

parent/sibling go over all the tables there, perhaps do a speed test. Record your time. Go in order, do the

section every day this week and see can you improve your time by Friday.

Art: The instruction underneath the wall tells you what to do, again if you cannot print the page don’t

worry, draw the wall on a sheet of paper and adapt it, be creative, be unique! Think of a wall in Bandon

that could do with decorating! That’s Art….the page is in my 4th class resources file on the class blog.
