03 What we do
This philosophy has helped us become one of the most innovative and successful recruitment companies in the UK and be Highly Commended in the ‘Best Company to Work For’ category at the IRP Awards.
Right now we turn over £15 million and help someone find a job every 2 hours. We’ve worked with over 5,000 companies and have over 3.8 million candidates in our network.
But enough about the past. It’s our future that’s really exciting. Things move fast around here and we’re investing heavily in training, marketing and new technology to build a powerful brand and triple our turnover in the next 3 years.

We specialise in engineering and manufacturing, and provide Permanent, Contract and RPO solutions in the following sectors:
We’ve been doing this since 2000, so we’re established experts in our field. We’re official recruitment partners to the EEF (the Engineering Employers Federation) and have worked with over half the FTSE100.

05 What we want to achieve
We’re going to equip our consultants with the best Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools available, develop the most sophisticated analytics in the industry and continue to develop our training and development programme so we’re seen as a university of professional recruitment.
Key milestones over the next three years:
Increase turnover from £15m to £45m
Increase our staff from 110 to 190
Increase our operating profit from £2.8m to £21.1m
And to make all this happen, we’re going to need the best talent in the industry.
The next few years are when things get really interesting. We’re investing heavily in technology, training and marketing to turn JAM into the most talked-about recruitment company in the country.

How are we going to make sure we deliver a better future for all our candidates and clients?

• Develop cutting-edge analytics to help us understand our candidates more effectively
• Monitor the service our customers receive through our dedicated Customer Services department
• Work tirelessly to understand our clients’ businesses, so we help them build stronger companies

We truly believe that our approach will help to redefine best-in-class recruitment.
How we’re going to deliver “Quicker processes”:
• CRM technology (Bullhorn) that helps us match clients and candidates to jobs faster
• Upgrade our client portal with video technology for more insightful profiling
• Utilise our innovative management information systems to help us identify new opportunities in real time.
New processes have been introduced and investment made into technology to speed up the recruitment process.

By providing ongoing training and access to invaluable industry resources we make sure all our consultants have an in-depth understanding of the sectors in which their clients operate and the professions they recruit for.

09 How we help you growWe’ve always said that a structured training path is the best way to develop your recruitment career, so our in house training team provides a wide-ranging training programme. This includes everything from classroom learning to computer-based modules, all backed by an extensive online training library.
For traineesAs with any company with a strong personality, working for us won’t be right for everyone. So if you’re thinking of becoming one of our new trainees, we give you the chance to get a feel for what we’re about at a series of JAM experience days. They provide a great opportunity to chat with us about our culture, our work and our ambitions for the future.
But be prepared. If you decide to join us, things will move quickly.
We place you straight into a structured programme of training and development, so you’ll rapidly learn about recruitment best practice, how to talk confidently to clients and how to make the most of the technology
available. Naturally you’ll also be trained in the industry, the sectors and the professions that you recruit for.
But your development doesn’t stop once you’ve graduated. We make sure you never stop learning by putting you through an intensive development programme that will help you hone your skills and build your career.
