The Shy WondererThe shy wonderer peered,Araid o what might happen,Reaching, grasping in the dusk,And praying in the breeze.
Twas straight, sti, sot and still,But growing through all o time,Opening out in twilight,Still swaying sot and calm.
Where was peace? Was it here? The dew the grass and water,Just maybe this could be change,But no!Theres always been this peace.
Beautiul is this place,Red, yellow, green and orange,The place is changing, dancing,The wonderer is ree!

The Sound Collectorby Roger McGough
A stranger called this morning
Dressed all in black and grey
Put every sound into a bag
And carried it away
The whistling o the kettle
The turning o the lock
The purring o the kitten
The ticking o the clock
The popping o the toaster
The crunching o the akes
When you spread the marmalade
The scraping noise it makes
The hissing o the rying pan
The ticking o the grill
The bubbling o the bath tub
As it starts to ll
The drumming o the raindrops
On the window pane
When you do the washing up
The gurgle o the drain
The crying o the baby
The squeaking o the chair
The swishing o the curtain
The creaking o the stair
A stranger called this morning
He didnt leave his name
Let us only silence
Lie will never be the same
