TAPPS State Speech Competition

The Fine Arts Department was well represented at the recent TAPPS state speech competition in Waco, Texas. A highlight of the event was the Woodlands Christian debate class. The class began this past fall, and two of the students competing have only been in the class since January. Congratulations to Rio Robertson for making it to the semi-final round of the original oratory division and to Maddie Ganley for debating in three rounds of the competition. Other members of the debate class included Ross Jackson (debated three rounds) and Leigh Ann Williams (debated four rounds). In drama, Baylee Rubich represented Woodlands Christian in solo acting, and Mikaela Sweet competed in prose interpretation.

Well done Warriors!
