Recycle Madness

Recycle Madness is back in action now through April 5. The Zero Waste team will be randomly sorting each floor’s kitchen recycle and landfill containers. They will be checking to make sure everyone is not only recycling, but recycling right. Winners of Recycle Madness get prizes, bragging rights and of course the highly-coveted Recycle Madness trophy. Check the flyers in your kitchens and spread the word on your floor - you might just be the next recycling champions.

Recycling Tip: Keep lids on plastic bottles. This allows the recycling machinery to capture all the plastic. Any item smaller than 2.5” in diameter will not get captured.

Visit Phoenix.gov/recycle to learn what is recyclable.
