Women’s Prayer Gathering In April, the women of eFree gathered on a Saturday morning to cry out to God
together. This October, we’re encouraging women to scatter: to host prayer
events in homes and communities. Reserve Saturday, October 23 as an opportuni-
ty to pray with your sisters.
The purpose is prayer, and we encourage you to schedule a block of time that is
convenient throughout that day and invite your friends to join you in crying out to
God together. These prayer gatherings can
take varied formats:
▪ Take a prayer walk around your neigh-
borhood or school.
▪ Walk around the church neighborhood,
praying for each of the families who live
there.
▪ Spend time in prayer for the Master Plan Project and take a prayer walk
around the church property.
▪ Host a prayer gathering in your home devoted to specific prayer for our na-
tion, marriages, families, prodigals, etc.
Our hope and prayer is that all throughout Sheboygan County, there will be cells
of women crying out to God and praying together, from Oostburg to Howards
Grove, Plymouth to Sheboygan.
We would love to hear feedback and testimonies regarding how God was at work
through this day of prayer!
MOPS believes in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen
when moms come together! MOPS stands for
Mothers of Preschoolers because it began in
1973 when a group of moms with young chil-
dren banded together to share their lives and
parenting journeys. Since then, MOPS has
expanded to include moms with school-aged
kids.
We are excited to launch a MOPS eFree group! We meet on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays of the month from 9:30-11. It’s a rich time for to moms gather, encour-
age one another, learn from one another, and grow closer to Jesus.
Childcare is provided.

Happy Birthday/Anniversary in October Names omitted.
Students in grades 7-12 are invited to the Rice Family home on Sunday, October
10 from 6-8:30pm for an evening of fun and fellowship. There will be a baked
potato bar, an apple dipping station, competitive games and prizes, a bonfire with
s'mores, and of course, hot cider and cocoa.
Plan to join us and bring a friend (or more)!
Our prayer, our hope for Sunday night gatherings is that students experience true life-
change as they encounter the living, risen Jesus Christ, who reigns and rules over all things
as the Lord of heaven and earth. To make this desire more explicit, we are announcing our
new name for Sunday evenings: RISEN.
.
RISEN, because all our hope is in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
RISEN, because we are desperate to see souls go from dead in sin to alive in Christ.
RISEN, because after rising from the dead, the risen Lord Jesus Christ gave us a mission:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . .
Please be in prayer for our leaders, volunteers, and students as we strive to continue our mission of Making Disciples.
Student Ministries Announces a New Name!
Student Ministries’ Fall Party
During both services on Sunday,
October 17, we invite all believers to
join us in commemorating the Lord’s
Supper together as we share in
communion.
Have you ever wanted to contact
someone from our church family, but
don’t have the paper directory with
you? We are working to create a
digital church directory that will be
accessible via the Church Center app!
All information will be secure, and
access to the directory will be by
invitation to regular attendees. This
will be a great way to keep
information current, as you will have
the ability to update your address/
phone number whenever necessary!
Watch for more details in upcoming
publications. Not tech savvy? No
worries — we’ll be happy to walk you
through the process when it’s time,
and we will still have paper
directories available upon request!

The 40 Days for Life campaign is underway and continues through the
whole month of October! The goal is
to take the message of hope to com-
munities where abortions are per-
formed, asking God to transform the
current culture of death, one person
at a time.
Will you make a commitment to
stand up for the unborn? The 40 day
vigil is being held outside Planned
Parenthood on S. Taylor Drive. Sign
up for vigil hours online or for more information, please contact the
church office.

Walking Together Mentoring Program
Even though our fiscal year begins in the summer during a high travel period, giving has been steady for July and August,
surpassing plans by $4,342. It’s interesting to note that many givers take advantage of online giving opportunities – about
one-third of tithes and offerings are received this way. Expenses during these two months were below plan by $23,370,
resulting in a surplus of nearly $28,000.
Thank you for your faithful and consistent giving to God’s work through Sheboygan eFree.
Fiscal Year Off to Great Start!
On Sunday, November 14, we’ll gather as a body for the Fall Body Life
Update. This will be a time to learn more about how God is working in the
various ministries at eFree. We’ll hear the latest from the Master Plan Team
and get a virtual tour of Café 19’s new look. We are also hoping to “break
bread” together prior to the meeting.
FCN is sponsoring a Fall Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, November 2
from 9am-1pm. Blood is in high demand, and donations are low. It takes 45-60
minutes to donate, and donation times are scheduled every 5 minutes. To
schedule an appointment online, visit:
https://donate.communityblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/34219.
You may also call 800-280-4102.
When you are grieving a loved one’s death, the holiday season can be espe-
cially painful. GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays seminar helps participants
prepare for the holidays and even discover hope for the future. Join us on Sat-
urday, November 6 from 9-11am.
