Scenario Finger Lickin Chicken New HireFinger Lickin Chicken (FLC) is a small chain of restaurants in Hanoi specializing in fried chicken. Its competitors include Ga Rang and KFC. FLC is different from its competitors in three important ways: 1) FLC is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week so no matter when someone is hungry for fried chicken, FLC is ready to serve them; 2) FLC has their own secret combination of spices for their chicken which includes some spices similar to KFC but also include spices which they believe will be more delicious to Vietnamese customers.; and 3) FLC buys only chickens which are raised following international Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). FLC believes that customers will appreciate the attention to customer service as well as the high quality of their chicken. Other than these differences, FLCs menu is actually the same as KFCs menu.RoleYou are the store manager of one of the FLC stores located in Lotte Center Hanoi. As part of your job, you are responsible for the hiring, firing, and promoting of staff within your store. The owner says you are responsible for operations, you are responsible for profits, and your salary is determined by the profits your store generates. Your store currently has 20 employees which include you, three assistant managers, and 16 workers. During any given shift, there is at least one assistant manager and/or you acting as management. Additionally, for that shift, there are normally four workers and one of those workers will act as a shift leader guiding the less experienced workers on how best to perform their job. While your store has 20 employees, you believe that you should add one more worker. Since your assistant managers will have to work with this new hire, you want them involved in the hiring process. You are also considering whether to have other workers involved in the hiring process as well.Tasks:1. Prepare all relevant documentation to select and recruit the new hire.(1.1)2. Assess the impact of Vietnamese legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations on the recruitment and selection process for this position.(1.2)3. Take part in the selection process either through in-class group presentation or with the CVs included. You should provide notes on each candidate indicating your reasoning to hire or not. (1.3)4. Evaluate your own contribution to the selection process of the new hire.(1.4)5. Explain the skills and attributes the new hire will need to be an effective leader(2.1)6. Explain the difference between leadership and management in the context of FLC(2.2)7. Compare leadership styles for different situations the new high might find himself/herself in(2.3)8. Explain your teams objectives and the ways you could and did motivate your team to achieve those objectives(2.4)9. Assess the benefits that teamwork brought to FLCs hiring process.(3.1)10. Report on your actual performance as a leader and member of your team and how the team worked towards specific goals and dealt with any conflicts or difficult situations.(3.2)11. Review the effectiveness of your team in achieving the goal of hiring the best qualified candidate or giving the best possible group presentation.(3.3)
