WLA FoundationsWe want to thank you ALL for supporting our school through the WLA Foundation.

WLA Foundations Highlights

- We raised over $30,000 for World Language Academy last year from parents like you!

- Foundations donated $20,000 in cash towards teacher training, educational programs and other school improvements.

- New Teacher/Staff Grant Program (four grants, up to $2,000 each for educators seeking to fund innovative student programs)

-Fundraising efforts to date: Fun Walk=$4062.12, Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night=$100.60, Spiritwear=$2064.67

-We would love to have more volunteers to better support ongoing events at all threeWorld Language Academycampuses.

WLA School Council It is time to elect two new School Council members for the 2016-2017 school year.

The responsibilities of school council members include (but are not limited to) the following:

Maintain a school-wide perspective on issues

2. Regularly participate in school council meetings (meets quarterly);

3. Participate in information and training programs

4. Act as link between the school council and the community

5. Encourage the participation of parents and others within the school community and

6. Work to improve student achievement and performance.
