Wk 2 Project: StoryboardKia Washington

*Before I started the MCBS program I was not really doing anything exciting in my current career choice. I had been to

a university before as well as trade school for massage therapy, but nothing to exciting.

*I had always thought that I wanted to work in the entertainment industry. I would love to work on as like a television host or a talk show host. I love discussing toplice about fashion and music and sports and would love to be able to

share my opinion with an audience.

*But then again, I realized that I had moved away from my hometown of Queens, New York where all the opportunity would be available to me. I also had a son so my responsibilities changed. I had to be availible for him. I also had to make sure I had a full

time job. I needed to have a source of income, which also took up most of my time

*Because of that I wasn't able to travel as lightly. I wouldn't be able to go to auditions. I would have to

use a lot of money in order to make travel arrangements like that, money I didn't have.

*Because of that I worked 40 hours a week and also overtime trying to make sure my baby had a stable foundation. Ultimately, he is my number 1 priority, so if it meant I had to put my dreams on hold,

so be it.

*Because of that I was stuck, or at least it felt that way at the time. I knew what I wanted to do but I wasn't sure how to put things in action.

*Until finally I realized that there are plenty of people in the world that have children and also pursue their dreams. I thought to myself "why should I be stuck?" I had finally came to the realization that I can still make my dreams come true. By pursuing an education at Full Sail University. By getting my

degree in Media Communications.

*And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media I have been extremely focused and excited about all of the information that I have been learning. I don't just feel like im taking online courses. I

actually feel like I am reaching my goals. That motivation is my drive, its what lets me know that what I am doing is right and now my only concern is going to be should I fly my mom and dad down to Winter

Park to watch me walk across the stage!

I used Google Drive to create my presentation. I love google drive because it is simple and has a very user-friendly interface. Google drive is my go-to option for creating presentations and documents when other resources are unavailable. Also I used SlideShare to upload my project on to my blog. I enjoyed creating this project.
