World War II was the largest and most violent armed conflict inthe history of mankind. Americans have grown largely unaware ofthe implications of a war that, more than any other, united us as a

people with a common purpose . Today, sadly, it is the very peoplethat bore the burden and sacrifice of that war that now find

themselves victims of the systemthe once bravely fought to

defend.As our Greatest Generation ofwarriors ages approach thecentury mark we continue towitness examples of allegedcriminal exploitation throughProbate Court appointedconservatorships and lawyersthat are allegedly removing these

pillars of society from theirhomes, into nursing homefacilities while draining their

bank accounts, selling off theirassets and renting their homesout to strangers in hopes the agedcombat veteran will die and that

their alleged criminal deeds will go unnoticed and unpunished.

Meet Louis J. Russo , anHonorably DischargedStenographer that servedthree years in WWII in theBattle of New Guinea, andPapua. Today he sits in anursing home in DanburyConnecticut where he awaitsthe eviction of tenants thatwere wrongfully allowed torent his home by his courtappointed conservator Mark

Broadmeyer and under thewatchful eye of a courtappointed attorney CandaceV. Fay all under the orders of

Judge Martin Landgrebe through the Housatonic Probate Courtlocated in New Milford CT.

As of, October 3, 2014 the following has been done:

1. Probate Court Judge, Martin Landgrebe has been sent awritten letter requesting an investigation.

2. The Conservator, Mark Broadmeyer was reached out to by phone to answer questions specific to case (he has notreturned calls)

3. The Court Appointed Attorney, Candace Fay, was sent aletter requesting an investigation.

4. Contact with the Danbury Veterans Affairs Office Director,Patrick Waldron has been made and he awaits further details.

5. The Offices of Senator Richard Blumenthal, CongresswomenElizabeth Esty, and State Senator Michal McLachlan, weresent the following letter requesting an investigation:

To all whom shall see this, greetings:

It brings me great sadness and frustration at the most visceral levelto write you this letter that has manifested from an allegation ofcriminal wrong doing, fraud, and dishonor against one of ourcherished members of our nations Greatest Generation. (Our WWIIVeterans)

I have been informed that Mr. Louis J. Russo of 11 Hammond Rd,New Fairfield CT 06812, after having been assigned a conservatorand attorney through the Housatonic Probate Court, 10 Main Street,New Milford, CT 06776, (860) 355-6029by Judge Martin Landgrebe, is now unable to return to his home, is

being sued for inability to pay a nursing home bill, and that his homeis currently and wrongfully occupied against the order of the probate court by a renter that is unwilling to leave.

Further, that the assigned conservator named Mark Broadmeyerand under the court appointed attorney, Candace Fay sold off his possessions and made repairs and modifications to his residence.

Recently, the probate court appointed a new conservator but has notchanged the attorney.

Further that the Veterans Affairs has not been notified and that he isnot receiving care or housing through a VA provided home or facility.

As a result, the very person that fought to protect this nation hasallegedly been exploited, undermined, deceived, stolen from and leftvoid of all forms of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness by thevery institution he so bravely protected.

I hereby request an investigation of all accounts and activitiesassociated with the conservatorship of Mr. Louis J. Russo. And further request that any criminal activity be investigated andadjudicated under the rule of law and that Mr. Russo be grantedresidence in his home.

As of October 7th, 2014 the following has been done:

1. Mr. Russo has applied for a veterans pension through theVA(that he has been eligible for over 40 years but nevertook)

2. He has applied for Soldier, Sailor, Marine fundsassistance.

3. State Senator Michael McLachlans office has been incontact with the newly assigned conservator and is seekingass istance in having Mr. Russos health care and housing

bills paid (since he should have been put into VA care onday 1 and never charged a dime)

4. The Probate court removed Mark Broadmeyer asconservator of Mr. Russo.

5. A Criminal complaint and case has been assigned againstMr. Broadmeyer through the New Fairfield PoliceDepartment.

6. The States Attorney has been contacted and made awareof the case.

As of, October 8th, 2014 the following has been done:

1. Judge Martin Langrebe has appointed Mr. Russos NewConservator, Atty. Dean Lewis who been provided alldocuments from the probate court and will be representingMr. Russo moving forward.

2. Atty Lewis will be working to also remove Atty. CandaceV Fay as conservator atty.

3. Attyy. Lewis will also be taking over the eviction processthat was again bungled my Atty. Candace V. Fay whomdid not file the appropriate pleadings to move forward

with October 14th

trial which must now be rescheduled.

October 9th, 2014 the following has been done:

1. Mr. Russo has spoken to news reporters and an article onhim and his circumstances is expected within a week

1. Mr. Russo was escorted by the State Police and the NewFairfield Police Department to look at his property and

obtain evidence and information.2. Evidence and information was gathered by the illegal

tenants, including, but not limited to:a. Fake lease obtained

b. A 2 nd copy of another fraudulent lease attainedc. Evidence that Both Attorney Candace V. Fay and

Mark Broadmeyer both agreed to rent the house outwithout probate court approval.

d. Evidence that Mark Broadmeyer has taken Mr.Russos firearms and said the police took them(which they have not)

e. Evidence that Mark Broadmeyer entered into anillegal rent/work barter with the illegal tenants.

f. Additional evidence has been gathered and providedto the new Conservator to be used in future criminalaction and civil litigation.

3. Notification that Mark Broadmeyer may have anothervictim located in Bridgewater, CT. An elderly womenwith dementia This is now being looked into also.
