Cover: This image of the World Tree, representing the unity of all things, was created for the pro-gram for the second Chicago Pa-gan Leadership Conference, held 27 March 1994. This conference also featured “Pagan Unity Night” a ritual conducted sequentially by different Chicago area Temples in differing traditions and styles. January: This image, representing Merlin the Magician, was created in 1991 and later used for the cover of the book “The Spell of Making” by Blacksun, published by Eschaton Press in 1995.

This image of the Goddess Brighid was created for the cover of the February 1997 issue of The Round Table magazine. Appearing in tri-ple form the Goddess wields sym-bols of Her mastery of medicine, poetry, and the arts. I edited The Round Table for several years, beginning in 1994, but the most spectacular artwork from the magazine are the covers from 1997. The Round Table included world and local Pagan news, sto-ries, and public Temple listings.

Never before published, these four images depict the Four Quarters as they were enacted in the Ride the Dragon ceremony, performed in Chicago on 11 January of 1992. The Ride the Dragon ceremony was intended to help anchor and attune to the energies of the New Age. The symbol of each Element appears in the background behind each Quarter Guardian.

This image of a Witch in his Magic Circle is one of several similar im-ages I did in the late 1980s. This particular version is reworked from an original created as part of a children’s coloring book I created in association with Lady Novalla of Fairywood Covensted. The color-ing book was never finished but the artwork was later published as loose coloring pages through Tele-pathic Media in the early 1990s.

Called “Duality” this image of God-dess and God was created for the cover of the June 1997 issue of The Round Table magazine. The image represents the complemen-tary but opposite powers of Yin and Yang Goddess and God, and Their union in the created world.

This image of a Witch at her altar was created as part of the chil-dren’s coloring book I worked on in the late 1980s. Eventually the art-work was published as loose color-ing pages by Telepathic Media. The Witch in the image is based upon my beloved cousin, Rev. Krystel High-Correll and the altar was inspired by her own altars which were often set with flowers, lace, and crystal altar vessels.

This is another image from Ride the Dragon. The center of the ceremony was a Mystery Play about the turning of the Age. The central ritual act of the Mystery Play involved a large papier ma-che dragon representing the en-ergy of the New Age. The dragon required two people to manipulate it, amid a great deal of dry ice mist. In the scene represented here the Matriarch of the Old Age passes her wisdom to the Maiden of the New Age.

This image of the Irish Goddess Boanna was created in 1992 as one of a series I did on the Celtic Gods. Although several of the im-ages have appeared in print, the complete series has never been published. The model for the im-age was Georgeanne Campbell, then Head of the Grove of Aphro-dite Temple in Chicago.

Intent on her work the Kitchen Witch cheerfully works on her herbal concoctions while her feline friends do all they can to help. One of my most popular pieces of artwork, the Kitchen Witch has been re-worked in several version including full color.

This image of the Lord of Midwin-ter was created for the December 1994 issue of The Round Table magazine. Various symbols of the Old God appear throughout, in-cluding the stag and bull as well as the wheels on the columns, as well as the horned serpent which ap-pears at His feet. On the border of His robe are a number of the names applied to the Old God from various times and places, including Cernunnos, Odin, and Santa Claus. The Round Table magazine debuted in the wake of 1994s successful Chicago Pagan Leadership Conferences, and would continue to publish for many years.
