The exhibi¬tion explores this rebuilding of Chakri MahaPrasat Throne Hall under the design andsupervision of Prince Naris between 1926and 1932. Italian guitarist Carlo Fierens won in 2013the "Italian National Prize for the Arts", aprize awarded by the Ministry of Educa¬tion to the best music student of the year,among all conservatories and schools ofmusic. The King Narai Palace National Museum inLopburi is going to open in 2018 a new pavil¬ion dedicated to the Prehistory of the LopburiRiver Valley. A special section will celebratethe 30 years of researches carried out bythe Thai-ltalian project illustrating the mostrelevant results of the field works and thelaboratory investigations so far carried outby archeologists Roberto Ciarla and FiorellaRispoli from ISMEO - International Associa¬tion of Mediterranean and Oriental Studies.Outstanding ceramic vessels, iron tools, andbronze, agate, carnelian jewelries discoveredduring the salvage excavations at Tha Kaesite, dated from the Neolithic (ca. 1800-1100BCE) to the Sukhothai Ayutthaya periods, will flflbe sided by fancy burial offerings discoveredat proto-historic sites. In the exhibitionitinerary, the innovative restoration methodsused by Italian specialists willbe also shown.
