From the Witch Panel - Purple (A):• Fussy cut (1) 42 ½” x 34 ½” WOF rectangle, centered on the panel.

From the Jot Dot - Orange (B), cut:• (2) 2 ½” x 34 ½” WOF strips. • (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 46 ½” strips.• (4) 1 ¼” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ¼” x 69 ½” strips.• (3) 1 ¼” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ¼” x 56” strips.

From the Urban Legend - Chartreuse (C), cut:• (2) 2” x 37 ½” WOF strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 48 ½” strips.• (4) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (32) 1” x 4 ½” strips.• (3) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (16) 1” x 5 ½” strips.• (16) Template 1 triangles.• (16) Template 3 triangles. From the Skulls - Purple (D):• Fussy cut (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips, each centered on a row of skulls. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 48 ½” strips.

From the Spiders and Spiderwebs - Purple (E), cut:• (32) Template 4 triangles.• (32) Template 5 triangles.

From the Jot Dot - Black (F), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 2 ½” squares.• (4) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ½” x 63 ½” strips.• (3) 1 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 1 ½” x 50 ½” strips.• (5) 1 ¼” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (4) 1 ¼” x 48 ½” strips.• (2) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 1” x 5 ½” strips.• (8) Template 2 triangles.

From the Tossed Candy Corn - Black (G), cut:• (2) 1” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 1” x 5 ½” strips.• (8) Template 2 triangles.

From the Pumpkins with Boo! - Orange (H), cut:• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 65 ½” strips.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 50 ½” strips.

From the Moons and Stars - Black (I), cut:• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 5 ½” x 71” strips.• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 5 ½” x 66” strips.

From the Bats - Orange (J), cut:• (8) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Flying Witch Allover - Purple (Backing), cut:• (2) 89” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 74” x 89” back.

1. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 34 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the 42 ½” x 34 ½” Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 46 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel to make the Center Block (Fig. 1). Trim the block to measure 45 ½” x 37 ½”.

2. Place (1) Fabric C-Template 1 triangle on top of (1) Fabric F-Template 2 triangle, right sides together, aligning the left sides (Fig. 2). Sew the (2) triangles together along the left side. Press the smaller triangle open.

3. Place (1) Fabric C-Template 3 triangle on top of the Fabric F-Template 2 triangle, right sides together, aligning the right sides (Fig. 3). Sew the (2) triangles together along the right side. Press the smaller triangle open to make (1) block. Trim to measure 4 ½” square to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 4).

4. Repeat Steps 2-3 to make (8) Unit 1 squares total.

5. Sew (1) 1” x 4 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of (1) Unit 1 square to make (1) Unit 2 rectangle (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (8) Unit 2 rectangles total.

6. Sew (1) 1” x 5 ½” Fabric F strip to the bottom of (1) Unit 2 rectangle lengthwise. Sew (1) 1” x 5 ½” Fabric C strip to the bottom of the Fabric F strip to make (1) 5 ½” Unit 3 square (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (8) Unit 3 squares total.

7. Repeat Steps 2-3 and refer to Figure 7 for component identification, location and orientation to make (4) Unit 4 rectangles.

8. Repeat Steps 2-3 and refer to Figure 8 for component identification, location and orientation to make (4) Block One squares. The blocks should measure 6 ½” x 6 ½”.

9. Repeat Steps 5-8 and refer to Figures 9-11 for component identification, location and orientation to make (4) Block Two squares, (4) Block Three squares and (4) Block Four squares.

10. Sew (1) 1 ¼” x 48 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and to the bottom of (1) 4 ½” x 48 ½” Fabric D strip lengthwise to make (1) Unit 5 strip (Fig. 12). Repeat to make a second Unit 5 strip.

11. Sew together (4) Block One squares and (4) Block Three squares, alternating them from left to right, to make (1) Unit 6 strip (Fig. 13).

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)13. Sew (1) 2” x 37 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 48 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

14. Sew (1) Unit 5 strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

15. Sew the Unit 6 strip to the top of the Center Block and the Unit 7 strip to the bottom of the Center Block.

16. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 63 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 50 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

12. Sew together (4) Block Two squares and (4) Block Four squares, alternating them from left to right, to make (1) Unit 7 strip (Fig. 14).

17. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 65 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric F square to each end of (1) 2 ½” x 50 ½” Fabric H strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

18. Sew (1) 1 ¼” x 69 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 1 ¼” x 56” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

19. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 71” Fabric I strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 66” Fabric I strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

20. Layer and quilt as desired.

21. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric J strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

22. Bind as desired.
