He said: “I was here for 10 years, so I got to know people very well. And, since I’ve been back, it’s staggering how many people have remembered me from when I helped them buy a house all those years ago.” In Mark’s opinion, Greasby village has changed very little in the past 20 years, and retains much of its charm and character – and the people are as friendly as ever. One major change, of course, is the price of property.
