DescriptionPAN1026 is based on Toshiba’s single chip TC35661 Bluetooth® semiconductor device with embedded Toshiba Bluetooth® SIG certified stack. The TC35661 is a highly integrated and compact Bluetooth® controller that delivers high-speed operation at ultra-low power consumption. It significantly reduces external component count and power consumption in applications requiring support of Bluetooth® 2.1 and 4.0 standards. EDR (enhanced data rate) is not supported. An embedded SPP (Serial Port Profile of Bluetooth® Classic) and GATT (Generic Attribute Profile of Bluetooth® LE) are also integrated. The device can also be run in a standard Bluetooth® HCI mode. The device allows for serving both legacy Bluetooth® classic and Bluetooth® Low Energy connections with rapid connection and disconnection, needed by a wide range of application, all at a small form factor. The PAN1026 Module is manufactured in a very small 15.6 x 8.7 x 1.9 mm3 SMD package with shielded case and is qualified according to the Bluetooth® 2.1 and 4.0 standard, FCC, IC and CE approval are available.

DescriptionThe ISL29501 is a Time of Flight (ToF) based signal processing integrated circuit. The sensor enables low cost, low power, and long range optical distance sensing when combined with an external emitter and detector. The ISL29501 has a built-in current DAC circuit that drives an external LED or laser. The modulated light from the emitter is reflected off the target and is received by the photodiode. The photodiode then converts the returned signal into current, which is used by the ISL29501 for signal processing.

The Honeywell HPM Series Particle Sensor is a laser-based sensor which uses
the light scattering method to detect and count particles in the concentration
range of 0 μg/m3 to 1,000 μg/m3 in a given environment. A laser light source
illuminates a particle as it is pulled through the detection chamber. As particles
pass through the laser beam, the light source becomes obscured and is
recorded on the photo or light detector. The light is then analyzed and converted
to an electrical signal providing particulate size and quantity to calculate
concentrations in real time. The Honeywell particle sensor provides information
on the particle concentration for given particle concentration range.

DescriptionThe AMG88xx series of Grid-EYE sensors from Panasonic feature 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid array that can detect absolute temperatures by infrared radiation. The Grid-EYE range has recently been expanded to include a new high performance type, standard parts have a human detection distance up to 5 meters whilst the new higher performance types have an increased human detection distance of up to 7 meters.
Grid-EYE is able to measure actual temperature and temperature gradients effectively providing a thermal image of the area being monitored. This allows the sensor to easily detect multiple persons and identify their positions and direction of movement, this can be done almost independent of ambient lighting conditions and without disturbing privacy as with conventional cameras.
