In the early 2000’s the founders of one of the oldest and largest N. America OEM CE manufacturers recognized there was an immediate need for simplified music without wires throughout the home, and outdoors. A new brand, Soundcast was launched to build high-performance wireless audio products that sounded great and did not suffer from signal interruption.

After 3 years in development Soundcast pioneered their first award winning wireless system - the iCast, winning PC Magazine’s 2006 elite Editor’s Choice Award.
