Winter has the shortest days of the year. So make sure you enjoy every hundredth of a second.

Your Porsche was designed for everyday use, so there is no reason why it should be forced to take shelter in the garage through the winter months. Enjoy uninterrupted driving pleasure in the colder months, and even enhance it with the Porsche range of winter wheels and tyres.

Commonly used across Europe, winter tyres are designed primarily for added safety. However, they also deliver improved performance and everyday practicality, allowing uninterrupted driving through the coldest weather.


This applies not only to the development of its vehicles, but also when it comes to custom retrofitting and accessories for Porsche models. For over 20 years, Porsche Tequipment has developed attractive and functional products which allow any Porsche to be used in any circumstance for any purpose.

With over 20 years of experience and expertise, Porsche Tequipment stands for one thing: customary Porsche quality. Porsche Tequipment products are developed, fine-tuned and tested for the complete vehicle by the Porsche engineers in Weissach, and have to meet the same quality and safety standards as Porsche vehicles. The products must withstand continuous loads on special test stands.

They are subjected to driving dynamics tests and adapted to the vehicle’s overall aerodynamic concept in the wind tunnel. For optimum performance – with optimum everyday usability. By meeting these high standards of quality, the vehicle warranty remains entirely unaffected when Porsche Tequipment products are used.

Porsche Tyre Hotel

After you have considered the purchase of a set of wheels and tyres from Porsche Tequipment, you may question where you will keep them when they are not fitted to your Porsche.

Porsche recognises that owning two sets of wheels and tyres and keeping them in the correct place for use at the correct time, might seem logistically complicated. For this reason, Porsche has introduced an initiative to ensure that your purchase and ownership experience of a Porsche Tequipment winter wheel and tyre set is as convenient as possible.

The Porsche Tyre Hotel service continues to provide a convenient storage solution for your wheel and tyre set. The programme offers you the opportunity to store your summer wheels and tyres safely and securely, through your Porsche Centre, whilst your winter wheels and tyres are in use. The service is also available during the summer months when you wish to store your winter wheels and tyres.

Your Porsche thrives in all conditions. However, all summer tyres begin to harden below 7ºC and cause braking distances to increase.

This is why we recommend the use of winter wheel and tyre sets from Porsche Tequipment below this temperature. All the winter tyres in this range have been co-developed, tested and approved by Porsche so you can rest assured that they conform to the Porsche specification. This is indicated by the special Porsche designation (N0, N1, etc.) on the sidewall.

There are many benefits. Your vehicle will continue to provide the high standards of driving safety for which Porsche is renowned, the tyres have been optimised to produce less noise, rolling resistance is reduced and fuel economy is improved. Most importantly, braking distances are shorter, not only compared with summer tyres but also with all-season tyres.

In addition, tyres with our ‘N’ marking are designed exclusively for Porsche vehicles and meet high standards for driving stability, comfort and fuel consumption.
