Winter Quarter 2016 Welcome Message from the Dean
Dear Members of the Emperors College Community:
Please Save the Date: December 19-20 for the 2015 Veteran and Families Stand Down at the Los
Angeles Convention Center, where Emperors College will provide alumni, DAOM and MTOM student
volunteers to bring this medicine to hundreds of homeless and at-risk vets. More information to come in
the next few weeks.
With mandated insurance coverage for acupuncture, we know that your future as graduates is bright.
The state of California is leading the way with many positive changes for our profession.
Also if you have not yet seen our Special Olympics coverage issue of Acupuncture Today : Oriental
Medicine on the World Stage!
I am pleased to announce the newly added electives offered this 2016 Winter quarter in all the five
concentrations. Emperor's College is very proud and privileged to have our esteemed faculty, which
allows us to offer the widest selection of electives available among all Oriental Medical Colleges in the
United States.

I would like to share one of my favorite verse from Chapter 2 of the Su Wen:
"The 3 months of winter
Are called closing and storing.
Water freezes, Earth cracks.
No more influence from the yang.
One goes to bed early; one gets up late."
Yours in optimism,
