Your Course
When logging in you will always be taking to your course main page. Here you can see information about your progress, take a tour, and see where you left off last time you logged out.
1. Complete the Tech Check to ensure your computer is working at its best.

2. Allow the system to install any new software it needs or recommends.
How do I navigate through the course?
Change levels or to Winter Games English by clicking School → My Course → Level
You can choose to any level of general English, or any of the 36 WINTER GAMES ENGLISH units.
How is the course broken down?
Course Units
In order to move up from one level to another, or to consider a unit complete, you should successfully complete 70% or more of the tasks.
Lessons
Tasks come in a variety of types, testing and revising English skills.
How do I complete tasks?
Click the record button in order to record your answers to interactive roleplaying activities.
Use e-papers to complete tasks.
Where can I see my progress?
Click the tab Progress → Progress Report
With results of more than 70%, you can move on to take a Level Test (general English only)
How can I get my certificate?
This can be found by clicking Progress → My Progress. You will see the Print Your Certificate tab.
Once a Level Test has been completed, with scores of 70% or more, you can receive a Certificate of Graduation.
What else is here to help me?
In the Study Tools tab you can find a number of useful tools to help you with your learning experience. These include a translator, flashcards, notebook,
pronunciation lab, grammar lab, and so on.
What’s in the Notebook?
1. Search for words, terms or phrases via the search box, general English level or WINTER GAMES ENGLISH unit.
2. Click the downward arrow to see a definition, translation and the word in use.
Search for, learn and revise vocabulary in Notebook
How can I create flashcards?
1. Click My Word Lists in Notebook and create any number of lists desired
2. Search for words or phrases as in Notebook.
3. Click those words which most interest you.
4. Click Copy to… and select which of your personal word lists you would like your word to appear in.
What’s in the Pronunciation Lab?
Choose to practice British or North American pronunciation.
Listen to and watch native speakers produce key sounds and phrases.
Record yourself and allow the system to rate your accuracy.
What can I do in the Grammar Lab?
1. Choose by level, subject or grammar topic.
2. Choose the specific topic which you wish to practice and click next.
3. Follow the rules and complete the tasks presented.
How can I use PodEnglish?
Choose the video by theme or level.
Watch the films online or download them to watch later offline.
Take English with you on the go by watching the short, fun, theme-based videos in PodEnglish.
