Matariki Celebrations Stardome Trip Tirama tirama nga whetu.... We had a great time during our recent trip to Stardome, exploring both the Space Gallery and the Space Room- where we partook in a session focussing on 'Matariki and the Stars'. We also had the opportunity to look through the HUGE Zeiss telescope, before watching the 'Magic Sky' feature in the planetarium theatre. This was great way to start our Matariki celebrations within the centre, and was loads of fun- especially when we got to explore the playground after our picnic lunch! Thank you also to all our 'parent helpers' who came along and helped keep our excited children safe and happy during this time- you are fantastic.
