Windows 10 remote working with PulseSecure and Securenvoy soft token If you have a need to work remotely from the Trust using your Windows 10 laptop, you will need the following three components prepared to assist you: 1) Securenvoy ‘Authenticator’ installed onto your SmartPhone. What is this? Authenticator is an application which will provide you with a unique six digit number (see item 11 below); this provides you with an additional layer of security (2FA) when connecting to the Trust network. Covered in the instructions below. 4 Let’s get started Single click on the SecurePulse icon to reveal no 5 1 Connect your laptop to the Internet Internet 2 Now find the PulseSecure application on your system. 3 Click the up arrow head [show hidden icons] bottom right on your taskbar 5 Route to RoyalBerkshire ...then Connect 6 An alternative way to connect to Pulse Secure is [Right Click] on the ‘Windows icon’ ..bottom left of your screen, then left click into [Search] 7 Type in the word Pulse and this will reveal the application. 8 The PulseSecure application will now pop up onto your desktop. But you’re not connected yet! Click on ‘Connect’ 9 When this pop up appears enter your normal (windows) user name and password and then click on Connect 10 Another pop up will appear – note the ‘secondary password’ this will be the six digit passcode from Authenticator app on your Smartphone. See next. 11 Launch the SecureEnvoy Authenticator application on you Smartphone. Enter the six digit code into PulseSecure [Secondary Password] area. 12 You will see ‘Connected’ and a white tick. Well done you are now successfully connected through to the Trust systems. You can now minimise PulseSecure to your taskbar. Disconnect when you’ve completed your work. If you have a need to work remotely from the Trust using your Windows 10 laptop, you will need the following three components prepared to assist you:

Let’s get started

2 Now find the PulseSecure application on your system.

Launch the SecureEnvoy Authenticatorapplication on you Smartphone. Enter the six digit code into PulseSecure[Secondary Password] area.

You will see ‘Connected’ and a white tick. Well done you are now successfully connected through to the Trust systems. You can now minimise PulseSecure to your taskbar. Disconnect when you’ve completed your work.
