Be it remembered that at this Vestry held in the Parish Church of Brading the 5th. Day of may 1752 it is

agreed upon for the Parish to borrow Fifty Pounds after the rate at 4 : 0 : 0 in the Hundred by the year

to pay of the old Arrears, and to apprentice out some Poor Children (viz) William Woods to Robert

Kemp, John Small to Thomas Wheeler, William Cresswell to William Gladdis,

[Note in page margin]

The £50 intended to be borrowed was not done but a 6d rate was afterwards agreed upon to be [can’t

read] in order to discharge the said Arrears and to apprentice the said children which was accordingly

done.
