NSPCC (National Society for Preventing Child Cruelty) came to our school to talk about

Childline to help us with our understanding the rights of a child. There were also work-

shops for years 5 and year 6.

0800 1111 is the free number to call and won’t show up on the phone bill if you feel you

need to talk to someone. There are lots of activities on the website www.childline.org.uk.

William Davies has talent. The talent show was a success. Lots of children signed up and they were very talented. In the future they could be on Britain’s got talent! Before the talent show began we had a special visitor, it was Santa Claus. To start the whole thing off, year 2 performed a wonderful dance. There were many different talents such as singing, magic tricks, dancing, gymnastics, music, comedy and art. We could not have done it all without our helpers Nikki, Hazera and Sadiyah. Ms Akhtar has made a short video which is on the website follow the tab -learning –school events.

Cricket Tournament On Wednesday the 7th of December 2015, Aisha, Aliyah, Leena, Zubayr, Hassan, Awais, Adam, Abdul-Salam, Shabbir and Hammad were picked to go to the Team Surrey Cricket competition with Mr Mahmood, the cricket coach, and Mr Langford. Aisha reported “We did well in our cricket match because we only had a difference of 3 runs to win but we lost unfortunately. The other reason we were proud was because it was our first time going to the cricket tournament”.

The whole school raised money for Syrian Refugees. We

raised quite a lot of money from the 50p talent show money

and £1 for wearing non-uniform. We raised a total of £260

and are should be expecting more. Together we achieve

more!
