WILLIAM BLAKE-Born-November 28,1757 In

London-Apprenticeship-August 4, 1772 to James Basire of Great Queen Street-Royal Academy- joined in 1778-First biography-June 1780-Married in 1782 to Catherine Boucher-Influence- The French American Revolution-Also people such as Jacob Boehme and Emanuel Swedenborg.-William was not recognized until after his death.-Died-october 1831

William blake wrote around one hundred seventy poems Throughout his life.

Some of the most famous include “Cradle Song”, “The Tyger”, “A Poison Tree”. And many more great poems

A DREAMA Dream is told in the form or a dream. About a mother ant whogot lost. The mother worriesabout her children. Luckilya beetle and a glow warm hear her cries and guide the mother back to her children.

In this poem the mother

represents a lost soul., the glow

worm represents god, and the

beetle is a guide. Together the

mother finds her way home
