precautions to minimize stress Response Activation
1. All preparations in procedure and colony rooms are carried out on the day before the experiment.
2. The door to the colony room is baffled to minimize any sound upon opening or closing.
3. Cages are handled as gently and quietly as possible, and all other sounds are kept to a minimum.
4. Routine daily maintenance in the colony room is conducted after experiments.
