Annual Book Sale. Our 2019 Book Sale will run from Tuesday, April 30, through Saturday, May 4. This project is critical to our fundraising in support of the library and its programming so PLEASE save your gently used books and media for this sale. Sharing books is a wonderful gift to the community, and you can always pick up some great material. Due to space constraints we cannot accept donations early but would welcome them Friday, April 26, through Monday, April 29, in the Brooks Room. More news coming, but start filling those boxes.

Hello everyone. This is a really busy time for the Friends group. The bulk of our projects fall in the next few months including our annual Book Sale (a major fundraiser for us), the Irish Music concert Banish Misfortune, the Peach Blossom Festival, Library Week, and of course the popular Spring Bus Trip. Whew!

We continue to look for help on these, so please think about volunteering. We are in particular need of volunteers to help set up and tear down the Book Sale. If you can give us time on April 26, May 5 or May 6, please email me at [email protected] or call me at 413-596-6490.

Also, there are many new programs and attractions at the library. Take time to note their publicity and mark your calendars. Don't miss them!
