Library News Thank you to everyone for your enthusiastic participation in our Book Week celebrations. Harry Potter, Disney princesses, Roald Dahl characters, Where’s Wally and a variety of superheroes were in abundance in the playground. The children thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as their favourite character and identifying the characters they saw coming through the school gates and even entering their classrooms as the staff at Wilberforce Public School also embraced the theme of the day.

The children were taught by crayons, Dame Washalot, Harry Potter, The Rainbow Fish, Spot and even Mary Poppins. The Mad Hatter made an appearance and took countless photos of the book characters which can be found later in this newsletter. The Man from Snowy River and Thelma the Unicorn manned our school office.

Thank you to all the parents and students who supported the Book Week Mufti Day. As a school we raised $215-00 for the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation.

Orders need to be placed through Book Club LOOP by Friday 8th September. No cash orders accepted.
