Now that software has become so important the quality management of it should be legislated. We use software to run heart implants, monitor threats to national security, run drones that can drop bombs, run banking and stock exchanges, very soon artificial intelligence will be used to fly airplanes and drive automobiles, trucks, trains etc... Its time to regulate the development of software and remove these defects before lives are lost and economies destroyed.
