Objective of this survey

• Measure and record RF – WiFi environment

• Locate this information geographically– As relevant to a person by functional area– Not by GIS type coordinates

• Create patterns of environment that might:– Be unique and useful for identification– Easy to quantify– Analyze for ambiguity problems

Method Employed

• Equipment:– Notebook computer with WiFi PC card– Digital Camera for survey pictures

• Software:– NetStumbler

• Method of data capture:– Go to various key locations and take RF

measurements using NetStumbler
