cation of Ionic Lodge No. 31 A.F. &

A.M. will be held in the New Castle

“St. John’s” Masonic Temple, locat-

ed at 1406 Wilmington Road, New

Castle, DE on Thursday, November 2,

2017, starting at 5:30 PM. The reading of the

minutes, reception of petitions, Masonic Birth-

days, committee reports, and all other business

as may lawfully be brought before the Lodge

will be transacted. This is also the official

GrandLodge Visit!

11/02/17 Stated Communication • Regular Lodge Attire. Shirt, tie, and jack-

et. Tuxedo for officers.

• We will open lodge at 5:30pm. To con-

duct as much business as possible before

dinner. Our ladies are invited to join us

for dinner and entertainment.

• Dinner is at 6:30. The New Grandmaster

has a taste for Italian food. Our very tal-

ented Senior Steward ls going to prepare

Chicken Marcella accompanied by

some delicious sides. The cost is 20$ per

person. Masonic Widows, Birthday broth-

ers, The Grand Staff and their Ladies eat

for free.

• Labor will resume at 7:30 and will be con-

ducted on the EA Degree so that ALL

Freemasons may attend.

We will be receiving the Grandmaster

and his staff. During this visit, we will have

live entertainment for our Ladies and

guests.

Message From the East

Brothers,

The Fall season is now upon us and as most of

you know, this is when masons really go to

work. With the holiday season rapidly ap-

proaching, we should be ever mindful of

those our in the community who are in need.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign cal-

endar is filling up quickly, but we still have sev-

eral openings to fill. Please Contact brother

John Mckenny jr. for available dates and

times.

December is our annual Christmas party.

This is a great time for fellowship and fun with

our families and friends. We will be having a

covered dish dinner and a program filled with

holiday spirit. Please contact our Senior War-

den if you would like to participate.

Our program for the month is our official

Grand Visit from The Grand Lodge of Ancient

Free and Accepted Masons of Delaware.

We will be receiving Most Worshipful John

Marinucci and his staff. Please come out and

support Your Grand Lodge.

On November 11th we are participating in an

empty chair ceremony with Unity lodge #32.

Tickets are currently on sale. The cost is 20

Dollars per person. Lunch is provided and all

of the proceeds will go to the Fischer House

and Home Of The Brave military charities. This

event is open to the public and is an excel-

lent opportunity to introduce a friend to our

craft.
