Roman Day Steve Manning came into school on Wednesday to run workshops for all the classes about Romans. He mesmerised Webburn and they got to see a replica shield and couldnt believe how big it was. It was nearly as big as them! They saw the armour a soldier would have worn and all the weapons. They enjoyed learning how to march in lines, this is much trickier than you think. They finished their day listening to a Roman soldier tell a story about Romulus and Remus. Please remember to make your £3 payment on ParentPay to help towards the costs of this day.
