+Survey

A survey was created using Google Forms to allow parents increased feedback and a foundation for the direction of my project.

+Engrade

Some parents struggled to understand the purpose or connection for creating a code name. For the most part, they were effective and were to be used for the student name in Engrade, to make grades more readily available to parents.

+Solution:

Technology should be used to aid communication between parents and teachers.

It can be used effectively and offers many tools to aid this process.

Be cautious! Do not overwhelm parents with too many tools

Encourage your grade level to also use these technology tools to improve consistency between teachers.

Does technology solve it all? Definitely not, but it offers access to your classroom at any time!
