WIC FVC BALTIMORE BUCKSThis is a free incentive for using WIC FVC at
the market.
How often do customers get them?
Once per season. Customers often spend FMNP checks toward the end
of the season.
Once every three months as a part of the WIC program. Farmers should check start
and end dates of checks.
Each time customers shop with WIC FVC, farmers give them a receipt. This is redeemed at the manager’s tent for
Baltimore Bucks, while funds last.
What are the dollar value amounts?
Clients receive a packet of 4 checks for $5 each. $6, $10, $15 $1 papers, a $1-for-$1 match for the value of
the WIC FVC check.
What products are eligible?
Fruits and vegetables including white potatoes and cut herbs Fruits and vegetables, no white potatoes or herbs
What needs to happen at the time of
purchase?Customers sign checks.
Customers sign checks and vendors write in purchase price. Vendors give customers a
receipt and tell customers to take receipt to the manager tent to get Baltimore Bucks
incentives.
WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks can be spent on all FVC eligible items by all FVC eligible vendors.
Can the customer receive cash change? No No No
How does the vendor get reimbursed?
Farmers stamp checks and deposit anytime between June 1 and
November 30.
Farmers stamp checks and deposit within 30 days of date-to-last use on check.
Farmers turn in to market manager along with other tokens and EBT Baltimore Bucks. The manager verifies amounts and issues a
reimbursement.
WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks Incentive Program 2012
The WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks Incentive Program is only for WIC FVC not for FMNP. See the reverse for differences between FVC and FMNP.
Customers pay with their WIC Fruit and Vegetable Check (FVC). Farmers make sure the check dates are valid.

Customers give market staff their WIC FVC receipt. In exchange, they get WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks. WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks can be used on WIC FVC eligible items. (See reverse for eligible items.)

Vendors count, report, and turn in WIC FVC Baltimore Bucks to the market manager in the same way they report tokens and EBT Baltimore Bucks.

Farmers circle the amount paid with WIC FVC, give the receipt to customers, and tell customers to go to the manager tent for Baltimore Bucks incentives. Only WIC FVC customers get receipts.
