• There are more than 30 tribal colleges that serve more than 30,000 students who represent more than 250 tribes from across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. • Most tribal colleges operate on Indian reservations. • Native culture is infused throughout the curriculum.• Tribal colleges promote students' self-esteem and cultural identity.• Most tribal colleges receive no Indian casino revenue.

• How do you think a tribal college will help you accomplish that? “Because I want to be involved in Indian law in some way, I think that coming from a college where I've been exposed to different tribes will help broaden my outlook about natives and teach me more about the issues involving native americans on reservations.”
