In 2006, Dallas County-wide*:• There were 47 Republican candidates in contested races

(District Attorney, County Judge, District Clerk, County Clerk, County Treasurer & 42 judges).• In part because 16,136 MORE Democrats voted Straight Ticket than Republicans (53.04%/124,136 Dem. votes vs. 46.14% /108,000 Rep. votes), and • Because Republican voters have a greater tendency to vote for who they know near the top of the ballot and leave the rest of the races blank, and• Because approximately 38,000 Dallas County Republican voters DID NOT VOTE (as per Dallas County & Texas State GOP party officials) --

ALL 47 REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES LOST!!!*Prior election results can be found at www.dalcoelections.org/archivedresults

• However, if everyone who voted for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kay Bailey Hutchison near the

top of the ballot had voted for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot, ALL 47 REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES WOULD HAVE WON! And with just two exceptions, they all would have won by more than 10,000 votes!!! • So even without the Republican voters who stayed

home, in 2006, all the Dallas County-wide Republican candidates would still have won with comfortable margins if enough Republican voters had voted for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot!

In 2010, Dallas County-wide:• There were 36 Republican candidates in contested

races (District Attorney, County Judge, District Clerk, County Clerk, County Treasurer & 31 judges).• In part because 20,317 MORE Democrats voted

Straight Ticket than Republicans (53.24%/152,610 Dem. votes vs. 46.15%/132,293 Rep. votes), and• Again, lots of Republican voters left down-

ballot races blank, and• A lot more Democrats were newly registered

voters --

ALL 36 REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES LOST again!!!

• This time, however, in 2010, even if everyone who voted for Republican State Attorney General candidate Greg Abbott near the top of the ballot had voted for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot, only some of our Republican candidates would have won – the County Judge (Wade Emmert!!!), the County Clerk, and 13 judges; but these would have lost – the District Attorney, the District Clerk, the County Treasurer & 18 judges.

• In 2010, although the percent of Dem. vs. Rep. voters was similar to 2006, the actual number of Straight Ticket Republican voters increased from 108,000 to 132,293, which is great! If everyone here, including candidates, but NOT ONLY candidates, works to educate like-minded voters, that number can be greatly increased again. When talking to like-minded voters, whether on Precinct Walks or elsewhere, it’s helpful to explain:• Choosing the best candidates in Primaries is crucial. Refer voters to trusted websites or other sources for input.• Point out that by leaving any races blank, voters are casting a partial vote for the Democrat because Democrats have a greater tendency to vote “Straight Ticket”.• If voters say they “vote for the person, not the Party”, gently point out that even if a candidate has the best of intentions, once elected, there is often insurmountable pressure to “go along” with the “Establishment” and we’ve seen this over and over again.• Get like-minded people registered to vote!

More reasons to vote GOP to the bottom of the ballot:• LEAVING RACES BLANK DOWN THE BALLOT WILL ENSURE

DEMOCRAT MAJORITIES AT THE COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS!!! We need Republican majorities at all levels of government, in part because local and state elected officials have tremendous influence on our day to day lives, e.g. at the County level:• County Commissioners and the County Judge oversee budgets for

elections, public health, the sheriff’s department, the district attorney’s office, roads and bridges, and more, and they set the property tax rates. Just to name some of the alleged corruption by local Democrats in recent years:• There is an ongoing FBI & IRS investigation of a Democrat County

Commissioner; search warrants were served June 27, 2011 on the offices, homes &/or cars of the commissioner, his top aide, and his political consultant, seeking evidence of 1) theft or bribery, 2) tax evasion, 3) fraud and false statements, 4) illegal structuring of transactions, 5) money laundering, and 6) conspiracy.

• A Democrat Justice of the Peace and six of his relatives were indicted in 2011 for voter fraud;• Two Democrat Dallas County Constables + two top

deputies were indicted in Dec. 2010 for campaign finance irregularities; • In Jan. 2012, the Democrat-controlled Commissioners’

Court sought to appoint the founder of the New Black Panther Party (a group espousing racial discrimination and anti-Semitism) to the Dallas County Homeland Security Advisory Committee. But due to citizen activists loudly protesting to the court and to the media, the proposed appointment was quashed!• There is chaos and injustice when the District Attorney’s

office and judicial positions are filled with corrupt and inept personnel.

YIKES! We MUST take back Dallas County!!!

More reasons to vote for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot in Statewide elections:• In the State Legislature:• The majority Party is crucial in controlling important

committees and winning debates and votes on legislation;• The state senate Nominations Committee votes whether

or not to confirm many of the governor’s interim agency or

judicial appointments as such needs arise;• The Appropriations and Ways & Means Committees make

crucial decisions on how tax payer money is spent; & more.• State school boards determine public school curriculum;• The state attorney general fights issues like redistricting, the

Voter I.D. bill, and more, all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary; he or she fights U.N. mandates on who TX can or cannot prosecute; etc.;• The governor may make 1,000’s of interim appointments;

and can sign, or veto bills presented to him or her; & more.

More reasons to vote for Republican candidates, in particular the gubernatorial candidate: • The Party affiliation of Election Judges at Polling Places is determined, Precinct by Precinct, based on the number of votes cast for each Party’s candidate in the last gubernatorial election. So LOTs of Republican votes for governor at every Polling Place is crucial. • A lot of voters DO NOT KNOW about the voter fraud indictments right here in Dallas County. To help reduce this at Polling Places, we NEED Republican Election Judges (EJs), Alternate EJs, Clerks, & Poll Watchers, to have Republican presence at every Polling Place. Everyone, please work hard to build your own solid, reliable teams, and if you find volunteers to work inother Precincts, refer them to DCRP HQs – 214-369-9555.

More reasons to vote for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot at the Federal level:•The U.S. Judicial Committee decides which judicial nominees, including Supreme Court and appellate court nominees, ever get “out of committee” and onto the Senate floor for a vote;• When Democrats are in control of the U.S. Ways & Means (i.e. Budget) Committee they incessantly fight to redistribute income from those who earn, for wasteful programs that seldom work. Also, they write federal income tax laws, but their own Dem. Committee Chairman was found guilty of 11 ethics violations after he failed to report at least $500,000 in assets in 2007!• Under Democrat control our country faces failed fiscal policies, failed energy policies, an assault on religious & other freedoms, growing threats from countries that want

to destroy us, rampant corruption, and more.

Page 13: WHY Vote for Republicans to the Bottom of the Ballot?

• Having Republican majorities at all levels should help ensure:•Our values of rewarding good behavior and punishing

bad; •Upholding the rule of law; • Limited government and self-reliance instead of

dependency; •Protection of our religious and other freedoms;•Protection of our 2nd Amendment & private property

rights;• Strong families;• The protection of innocent life; • Strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution; and more.

Page 14: WHY Vote for Republicans to the Bottom of the Ballot?

• Put in simple terms, if you explain the dire consequences of well-intentioned but disastrous voting habits of leaving down-ballot races blank, then more Republican voters will vote for Republicans to the bottom of the ballot, and more of our great Republican candidates at all levels will WIN!

Remember - If you won't vote for a Republican you don't know,

you'll get a Democrat you don't want!HELP US TAKE BACK OUR COUNTY AND OUR COUNTRY and

spread this message to ALL of your like-minded friends and associates!
