True Rx was founded by two pharmacists — Mark Williams and Nathan Gabhart — who set out to change the old Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) model. They succeeded by eliminating MAC spreads and hidden fees, putting forth truthful, transparent business practices, and delivering superior customer service.

An Indiana based company, True Rx serves local and national companies, both large and small. Our team works with clients, members, and pharmacies to ensure optimum value at the lowest possible cost. PHARMACIST CONSULTANTActual TransparencyTrue Rx is a transparent PBM. Traditional PBM’s will allow “MAC spread

pricing” - a MAC spread, or Maximum Allowable Cost spread, is the

difference between what a PBM pays the pharmacy for prescriptions

compared to the amount the PBM bills the client for those same

prescriptions. True Rx charges the client the same amount we pay the

pharmacy. There are no markups and no hidden costs.

Complete Pass Through on RebatesMost PBMs negotiate rebates with drug companies, but may not pass the

rebates on to clients. With True Rx, all rebates we receive are passed on,

in full, to the client.

Client InvoicingClient invoicing includes claim detail information that can be easily

reconciled.

Program FeesAdditional program fees are clearly defined in the True Rx Pharmacy

Services Agreement.

Administrative FeeTrue Rx simply charges a per claim fee.
