Churchill's Life
Born in 1874
Died in 1965
To understand the length of time Churchill's life covered,
consider this:
He was born 10 years after the American Civil War ended.
He died the same year Malcolm X was assassinated.
Now consider all the events that occurred within that timeperiod.
Now consider that Churchill came onto the world stage at
age 19 and never really left until he was dead.

How Recent Leaders Saw Churchill
"Winston Churchill illustrates dramatically
that whatever theory one espouses, a
place has to be found for personality, for
leadership, for individual drive and
determination, for history has shownmany times that the fortunes of nations
can be transformed, for good or ill, by the
character and deeds of individuals."
