Why Life Insurance Awareness Month?
1
Why LIAM? Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) exists because of people like Chez Ortiz. When her father died at 45 with no life insurance, Chez dropped out of high school and took a job unloading boxes off tractor trailers to support her family. Sadly, 95 million Americans don’t have any life insurance, and most with coverage have far less than experts recommend. That’s why each September the LIFE Foundation coordinates LIAM, a time for the industry to remind Americans of the importance of life insurance planning. © 2013 Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education
