First thoughts…

• Write A-Z down the margin of a piece of paper.

• Next to each letter, come up with a weapon that could be used in a zombie apocalypse. I want creative but realistic answers, and each answer MUST start with that letter of the alphabet. You have 5 minutes!

The zombie apocalypse has been raging on for six months. You’ve been holed up in your home, but with no supplies left it’s time to leave

The only things you can take with you is one weapon, and a medium rucksack, which can carry 10 small-medium items.

You know you won’t survive for long alone, so you decide to make some calls.

Task - Which three people would you ask to join your zombie apocalypse team and why?

Now you’re outside, you remember how dangerous the world has become. There’s only a few safe places you and your team can go.

Task - Which of the following places do you choose and why:

• Hospital

• School

• Shopping centre

• Park

UNFORTUNATELY YOUR TIME IS UP…

In all the panic, you get bitten. You beg your team to shoot you, but they can’t bring themselves to do it. It’s only a matter of time…

Write a first-person narrative explaining some of the thoughts and feelings you have when you wake up and realise you’re a zombie.

Include the following areas in your narrative:

• What you remember about your old life, if anything.

• How you feel about the way you look now. (use effective descriptive techniques here)

• What your day-to-day life now includes.

• What the other zombies you encounter are like.
