Why Employees Quit Organization-Employees quit organization for many reasons though it is generally believed that employees leave organization mainly for monitory benefits. It may be one of the reasons but definitely not the main reason for quitting an organization, when organization is offering a competitive compensation. In different research it has been found that number one reason for employees' turnover is “Bad Boss”. Whether an employee will stay with you or not, it depends on how you are treating or giving value to your employees. In most of the cases people like to leave manager, not the company. How much you pay to your employees will not matter to them if they are not respected, not valued or sidelined. It has been found that 88% employees leave their job for reasons other than pay related issues. But interestingly 70% managers think that employees leave organization for monitory benefits.

Hundreds of studies have been done to find out the reasons why employees quit organizations. All most all studies concluded that number one reason for employees’ turnover is a “Bad Boss”.

Every individual want to be recognized for their contribution, it is a human nature. If their contribution is not acknowledged, valued and recognized they leave their organization.

Poor Working EnvironmentToday it has become a basic need for every employee that organization will ensure a good working environment for its employees. If organization does not ensure a secured and congenial working environment, employees don’t feel comfort and leave organization.

Today work-life balance has emerged as an important reason for employee turnover. Some situation like sifting duties, expected job posting, getting married, becoming mother etc sometimes create extra pressure to employees and they leave their job.

It is one of the major reasons why employees leave organization. A good organization should ensure proper justice for all of its employees; if organization doesn’t ensure justice, people become de-motivated and leave organization.
