It's that time of the year to start going through your closets,

basements, attics and garages for all the unwanted

"treasures" you no longer want. Saturday, April 28th is

the date of this year's sale. New this year: The youth will

also be holding a carwash during the rummage sale. You

may start to bring your rummage sale donations now. Please

put the items in the back of the fellowship hall. PLEASE do

Because of You…. Journey Lutheran

Church is all about being the heart and hands of Je-

sus in our corner of the world. Many of us bring heart

and hands to teaching our children about Jesus,

planning and leading worship services, serving those

in need in our community and world, maintaining this

House, and serving as church leaders. We all serve

in different ways.

We all serve in the same way through our offer-

ing. You may have noticed that after a long dry spell,

our offering has come up to meet our budgeted ex-

penses, as noted in the March numbers in the bulle-

tin and in our electronic newsletter – the Journ-

E. Whether you give automatically through Simply

Giving, through regular weekly offering or by lump

sum — because of you, we are doing the important

work of keeping this whole mission alive. Thank You!

THANK YOU NOTE FROM TREVOR LEBBAKEN Thanks again for supporting me in my Guatema-la adventure. We have returned safely and en-joyed or trip to Guatemala and the orphanages. Thank you for your generous donations.

vidson, Amanda Reget, Alyson Islam and Wayne Olson (Dave

Grace & Gratitude Question of the Week:

Some are brought to Christ only after being brought

to their knees. Has this been true for you or

someone you know?
